UCI gravel World Series event and Nordic championship

On the 5th of September, in the forests of Northern Denmark, you’ll have the chance to take part in a gravel race like no other. It’s going to be a day to remember!

More than a Gravel Race

The Wolf is not just a race – it’s a gravel festival.
Before the race, you can hang out in the expo area, where our partners will have booths packed with everything you need for a great day on the bike.

After the race, you can roll back into the expo area, refuel, and swap war stories with your fellow riders. This is the kind of racing experience you won’t want to end.

The Route

The Wolf features a 54 km loop through the surprisingly hilly North Jutland terrain near Dronninglund/Flauenskjold. The route varies from wide, fast gravel sectors to more challenging forest roads.
The loop starts in Flauenskjold. After the first few kilometers, we turn into Voergaard Castle, passing the moat and the castle courtyard — a technical section that will ensure an early selection in the field. From there, the route continues on a mix of high-speed gravel and rugged forest tracks.
After each lap, you will pass through the start/finish area, where we guarantee a high-energy atmosphere and plenty of support.

The Area

The race starts in Flauenskjold — a small, cozy town in the northern part of Denmark. It’s close to the highway and Aalborg Airport, making travel to and from the race easy.
